Writing-Center.US operates as a professional academic and career writing service provider. With over a thousand in-house tutors, faculty consultants, and subject experts, we are bound by a single, non-negotiable principle: Academic Integrity will never be compromised.
1) Scope of Services
- Feedback, revisions, and structural improvements to student drafts.
- Assistance with research deliverables, capstones, dissertations, theses, and projects.
- Drafting of professional documents (résumés, statements, proposals, career materials).
- Language editing, formatting, style compliance (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.), and citation guidance.
- Preparation of learning drafts and study notes for skill-building.
All services support learning and development without undermining institutional rules or authorship standards.
2) Prohibited Services
- Completing or contributing to exams, quizzes, or graded assessments.
- Accessing university platforms or courserooms on behalf of students.
- Fabricating or falsifying research data, results, or findings.
- Submitting assignments directly to an institution on behalf of a student.
- Selling or distributing restricted instructional content.
- Producing plagiarized work in any form.
No exceptions. Any violation results in termination of services, forfeiture of fees, and possible reporting.
3) Client Responsibilities
- Final submissions are the sole responsibility of the client.
- Comply with academic integrity policies of their institution or employer.
- Do not represent Writing Center drafts as final submissions.
- Cite all sources and references included in drafts.
- Do not request prohibited services.
4) Tutor & Faculty Consultant Responsibilities
- Provide only permitted writing support.
- Use track changes and comments to preserve authorship.
- Refuse requests involving exams, quizzes, or unauthorized collaboration.
- Report suspected violations to compliance@writing-center.us.
- Complete mandatory training on integrity and compliance.
5) Safeguards to Ensure Integrity
- Work Separation: Deliverables are support materials only.
- Originality Control: All drafts are original and checked for plagiarism.
- Transparency: Collaboration statements available upon request.
- Documentation: Tutors document sessions and edits.
- AI Usage: AI may assist with clarity but cannot replace authorship.
6) Legal Observations
The Writing Center complies with British Columbia law and enforces safeguards against contract cheating, plagiarism, and academic dishonesty.
- Private Training Act: Practices follow transparency and consumer protection principles.
- Academic Misconduct Standards: We prohibit plagiarism, ghostwriting, and contract cheating.
- Copyright & IP: All services comply with Canadian copyright law.
Services are suspended if suspected of violations. Fees are non-refundable. Jurisdiction lies in British Columbia.
7) Binding Acknowledgments
Clients
- I remain the sole author of all submissions under my name.
- I understand the Writing Center does not complete exams, quizzes, or timed assessments.
- I accept responsibility for complying with institutional integrity policies.
- I acknowledge all final submissions are my sole responsibility.
Tutors & Faculty Consultants
- I will not draft or complete exams or assessments.
- I will preserve client authorship and provide only lawful support.
- I will report suspected breaches to compliance@writing-center.us.
8) Statement of Principle
At The Writing Center Inc., we uphold professionalism, legality, and academic integrity in every service. Our mission is to empower students, faculty, and professionals by strengthening their writing and supporting skill development.
- We do not write or complete exams, quizzes, or timed assessments.
- We do not engage in plagiarism, ghostwriting, or unauthorized collaboration.
- Final submissions remain the sole responsibility of the client.
- All services are for educational and developmental purposes only.
By engaging with The Writing Center Inc., clients, tutors, and faculty consultants agree to this framework of integrity and accountability. Services may be suspended without refund for any violation. Disputes fall exclusively under British Columbia law.
